Annie Larson lives in a world of vivid color. Walking into her airy Bushwick studio, one gets a sense of Annie and the pieces she knits; fun, playful, and colorful. After leaving a job at a large corporation and buying a knitting machine on a whim, Larson began her line of handmade knits, “All Knitwear” in April 2011 out of her storefront in Minneapolis. In the fall of 2011 she relocated to Brooklyn. Larson incorporates fantastical colors and patterns into her knits, while keeping the materials and shapes of the garments simple, “so that they are friendly to people and so people do not have to worry about the shape, but can have fun with the color!” LINE takes a peek into her world.
